1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using KJV Weekly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

KJV Weekly provides a guided Bible study program featuring weekly passages from the King James Version, historical context, interpretive guidance, and personal journaling features. The Service includes both free and premium subscription options.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Promptly update any changes to your information
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Billing

Free Tier

Free accounts have access to the first 5 weeks of content and basic progress tracking. Premium features such as the journal, weekly emails, and full archive require a paid subscription.

Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly ($5/month) or annually ($40/year). All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
You will retain access to premium features until that date
Your account will revert to free tier access after the period ends
Your journal entries and progress will be preserved

Refunds

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you are unsatisfied with the Service, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase to request a refund.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create (such as journal entries). By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content (excluding user content and Bible text), features, and functionality, is owned by KJV Weekly and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The King James Version of the Bible is in the public domain.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
Impersonate any person or entity

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KJV WEEKLY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
